Actually, this is just the stuff I remember thinking while watching the show. I seriously thought that there was a chance the writers could go with the delusion since there was so much evidence. I meant to do a week by week write up in real time, but I was in school. Things got crazy and I couldn't catch up. These are just the theories that I remembered and got some help on. I still plan to do a rewatch at some point to see if I can catch anything else.
Tuck...I really never gave him much thought. Let's see... Much has Will and Djaq leave since that's what people do when they are in love. Much has a fear that people in love settle down and leave all there friends (see Robin and Marian). Only, he knows that the team doesn't make much sense without them. In order for the delusion to continue, the role Djaq played as doctor had to be kept up. Enter Tuck. Tuck has very little personality. Much's brain isn't big on characterization. To make up for that fact, Much gives him a heavy dose of Robin-worship. It's a logical brand, but Robin-worship nonetheless. He acts as medical advisor and emphasizes how very important Robin is...Yes, Tuck is definitely part of the delusion. Plus, he's a monk, since they are in the Holy Land and Much is thinking about religion.

Hee! Okay, so this is way too obvious, but...say it with me now..."And neither are the brains of the S3 writers!" This talk of Tuck (very good explanation above, by the way) made me think of something new...the Eclipse. Hmmmm....Light. Dark. Religion. Superstition. Care to explore?
Hmmm...since the Tuck stuff was my crazy bsing through my theory, I think I will give the eclipse a little more thought. Let me get back to you on that one. (I came up and wrote the Tuck theory in about 30 seconds.)
Really? Wow, I bet you're the only person who thought of all this when watching, it's really good though! It's kinda making me wanna scratch all I've got for my series four challenge and rewrite it from this! Hehe. Yes it does work for me, well done!
Don't scratch what you have. I'm sure it's awesome and look forward to reading it if you post it.
HOWEVER, if anyone DID want to turn this into a fanfic, I would love them forever. I have no talent for fic, just crack theories. Anyone who did want to do a Much-delusion explanation for series four would be welcome to any of my crazy theories.
Oh I'm definately posting it, whether it's finished in time for the comp deadline or not! Hehe. I'd really like to have a bash at writing from it, but I think it'd have to wait until s4's done and dusted, and the numerous other fic ideas I have floating around my head! So someone else may well beat me to it :P
