Thank you ever so much, Karen!
I did have a lovely day! Though it culminated with my second cousin knocking my glass of chilled coffee down the front of my dress and all over my desk... :D
Other than that, it was was a day of movie-fun with some crazy friends of mine, a few Episodes of Friends and a little meal out, after which I was stuffed full that I skipped my dinner (much to Mom's wrath hehe)
Pressies - my parents who gave me a necklace and pair of slip-in sandals. And my brother has a promised gift winging its way towards me (hopefully soon, given India's stupid postal system) He won't tell me what it is (the git) so I have to wait ... and my uncle gave ne a cheque and asked me to buy whatever takes my fancy (I haven't decided yet!) And my friends gave me a few cards (and hugs :P)
Amount of cake eaten - well they sloshed my face into a small cake at the cafe Does that count as eating it? (They're damn lucky I have cropped hair, or I'd have had to subject them to some pain ;))
Life has been generally good, thankfully - its all in part to my brother's visit a week ago. They stayed for two weeks and it was the most fun I've had in a long time. My brother's a barrel of fun and its hard to stay unhappy with him around. And I've been pranked on so many times, I don't think I'll ever get to retaliate in kind :D And my nephew kept us all our toes those two weeks. Takes after his dad, the little tyke.
Thanks for the wishes, love. And your friendship is the best gift a girl could ask for.
