Uniform inspection today. It sucked.
200+ people in a tiny gymnasium, all standing at attention for over an hour.
One guy passed out, landed on his face, and broke his nose and jaw. There was blood everywhere. Then 2 more people passed out. Then I had to run to the bathroom to puke because I overheated and was about to pass out.
It's a strange feeling - first I felt nauseous, then I got extremely hot and uncomfortable, and finally my legs started tingling and my head felt woozy.. the girl next to me grabbed my arm and told me to fall out, so I did.
Before all the passing out occurred, I got inspected. Apparently I am a shitbag. Oh yes I am.
My entire uniform is too big for me. This would be the reason I feel like my dress whites are pajamas. They are not supposed to be this comfortable because they aren't supposed to be 2 sizes too big.
But I refuse to buy all-new uniforms until I get my uniform allowance in June. I won't pay out of pocket for uniforms just because the people in boot camp issued me the wrong sizes even after I protested that everything was too big.
So I'm wearing a huge baggy uniform, and my E3 patch is thinner than my E2 patch was, so you can see the outline where my old patch was. There is nothing I can do about this short of buying a new uniform. I will not buy a new uniform yet. I won't I won't I won't.
I hate inspections and I still feel lightheaded.
Screw you guys, I'm goin' home!
