She’s taking the risk even if there is no assurance of a successful relationship. Even if the mannequin isn’t real, she still wants to give it a shot and disregard that it’s just a toy because she’s in love with it. It might seem tragic or impossible but who cares? She’s in love and that what makes her happy. It may lead to failure, a broken heart, or to being lost but this is the essence of what love really is. It is about struggles and fighting the impossible. In reality, whatever the past of the person you love has, you got to accept it and change the present in order to come up with a good future. You just have to give it another try. In the end, maybe, just maybe, the mannequin could be a man. If not, at least you did your best. Indeed, it’s better to have loved than to have never loved at all.
