Shinyyyy!
This is a really random post...not sure anyone can appreciate the tragedy!! (as it relates to pokemon..)
Earlier this year I bought an NDS and have got about 55hours on my pokemon game now.
Was playing on the train yesterday on my way home from work and a vulpix came on screen in a battle that seemed a different colour from most. At first I thought it was a mometary glitch but then it SPARKLED and was all golden and stuff!!
Had never heard of "shiny" pokemon until yesterday, but aparently they are some of the rarest kind in the game and difficult to find, especially randomly walking around patches of grass as I was doing. Tragically, I hit it with an attack that was too strong and killed it... ;___; NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So yeah, there goes my 1/8000+ chance of finding any shiny pokemon EVER, much less a VULPIX!!!!!! AAAAARG!!!! (which i love very much, and they evolve into lovely ninetails foxes....foxes rock..)
So... I reset the game and lost the training I did for the past 30 minutes to see if I could find it again but...doubt it's gonna happen... >__< Just had to rant somewhere...
