I am 23% girly

Okay, so here I am, home on my lunch break, and I've just gone and done a quiz that I stole from Nikki's deviantart (it's been going around it seems...ignore the ridiculous girly slang in some of the Qs). Was mostly just curious what I'd get, comparatively ^^ Although, I almost suspected I'd me more girly than 23%, but I suppose not! Some of the ( Read more... )

well it wasn't a super high score, 26%, but still higher than yours

I'm wearing a necklace today and earings. If you wear a necklace and earings often you start to get used to it and feel naked without it.

I had to invest in two silver chains though, cause I kept rusting through cheap stuff. I wear it too often, sweat in it, put it on after taking a shower, wear it in the rain, ect. So I needed it! I bought several silver pendants online last year. I only have two of them here in Korea though :3

But jewelry can be differing levels of formal. Today's necklace (celtic knot) is pretty formal. The other pendant I have here is a bit more casual (the chinese character for dragon)

But I'm also not wearing super formal clothes today, simple black flat shoes, black pants and long sleeved cotton t-shirt. So jewelry dresses it up a bit.

I also got really pretty green prayer beads in Taiwan (made of either jade or green glass), which I wear every day but am probably going to cry when the elastic breaks as it inevitably will.

and I really like my earrings, only 1000 won ($1). I'm surprised that for that price they don't give me any sort of allergic reaction. Simple star shaped hoop earrings, so those are casual style earrings (to me). So in my opinion it's all about getting the right balance. ;) Though if I want to wear fancy jewelry I do...without thought.

I don't do makeup though. Partially because I'm too lazy, though my complexion was really good until I went to Taiwan. They I freckled up a lot. U___U BOO!

But I don't consider makeup good for the skin, or worth starting to wear (unless it'll durastically help my career at some point, but in my current job I don't have to wear makeup and there's no upward mobility anyways).

I have so much pretty jewlery at home! Not any diamonds though...ahaha! I miss my jewelery.

I seem to go through phases with nail polish. I haven't done my nails any time recently, cause I didn't bring any overseas. Everytime I think to buy some, I'm in a cheap place and I don't want to buy those nailpolishes. (plus if I bought nail polish I'd have to buy remover too)

I was in a Korean store the other day where the nail polish remover was called "nail remover". Ahaha! I hope it's not that potent.
