st. martin's summer
i have realized that it's been quite a while since my last posting. granted, there hasn't been much going on, mainly the usual eat, sleep, work, but still. in any case, i suppose the only thing to report is that my computer has now returned, though about 1 month 3 weeks behind what i thought was going to be the repair time. he has come back a little worse for wear, but i suppose it suits him, since he's now even more of a black douglas than ever, complete with battle scars, so i guess i can't complain. this is what i get for naming my computer after a scottish warrior rebel.
i really can't believe it's already the end of the year (well, almost). time goes by so quickly, at least the larger chunks of time do. individual days have a way of crawling, but months seem to fly by for some odd reason, at least for me. i'm hoping for a white christmas this year, with a decent snowfall, especially since we've already seen a good amount of snow 2 or three times this year already, & despite the fact that it was like near 60 out this morning. uck. it's december & therefore should feel like december, which is in a word, cold.
