This is the worst time of the year for movies. It's sad how much un-original, un-imaginative crap is out now and will be coming out in the next few months. I liked 'Pan's Labyrinth', I think '300' looks awesome, and of course I'll see 'The Number 23' and 'TMNT' because I like Jim Carrey and the ninja turtles, but other than that, there's nothing between now and Spiderman 3 that I'm interested in seeing. I can see movies for free, but everything is so bad I don't even want to waste my time.

I have to say something about 'Sunshine'. I saw the second half of the trailer while at work and thought it looked cool, then later I saw the beginning, the part that explains what it's about, and was disappointed and annoyed that anyone could be dumb enough to think this is a good idea for a movie. It really pisses me off when Sci-Fi movies are made by people who know nothing at all about science. "It's 50 years in the future and our sun is dying, so we've sent a team of astronauts out in a spaceship to re-ignite it." There are about a million things wrong with that idea. The main one being that the Sun is freaking huge (it makes up more than 99% of the total mass in our solar system) and there's nothing a few people in a tiny ship could possibly do to affect it. Trying to re-ignite a dying sun is beyond retarded. I hope I didn't offend anyone who saw the trailer for this movie and thought it looked good.
