Well, it's a pretty simple story. Back when my family first got the internet and I wanted to get my own email address in 1994, I had absolutely no idea what to do. At the time, I'd been reading a lot on mythology and thought it'd be fun to take a name from there. So I opened up one of my myth books and the first thing I came across was an entry on Cadmus, the first king of Thebes. It sounded interesting and yet obscure enough, and the story had dragons in it - enough to convince me to use it.
When I tried using Cadmus as my name, it was already taken, so then what was I supposed to do? I decided to tack on a 26 to the end because that's my lucky number. It's the number that appears more often than any other number in my life, and when it comes up I usually take it as some sort of sign, depending on the situation I'm in.
Hmmm... I suppose I could tag a few of you crazy people, only because I'm a little curious: clawedmedea, ironroot, kikimodo, limegreentea, lostreality, olivechancellor, and scifantasy.
