work sucks, i know
ahhh today was crazy
not only did i work 10 1/2 hours, but i got robbed at gunpoint. it wasn't all that crazy really, but it was still like..i dunno. shocking? so i was alone in the store (it was at like 3:30, the point in the day when i only have one driver, and we don't have cooks until night) and i had a guy walk in and order a pizza..while he was waiting another guy came in, and picked up one of our menus and sat down and was looking at the menu. right after the first guy got his pizza and left, the second guy came up to me and was asked something like "so all you have is pizza?" and i started on a spiel about all the other things we have. and then he was like "well, just give me a soda, a Pepsi." so i got him a 2-Liter, told him it was gonna be $2, and he gave me a $5...right as I opened the register and starting counting change, he pulls a gun out of his pants (the cops and i decided it was probably a 9mm, it was this big black pistol) and points it at my head and starts screamin "give me all your money! all your fuckin money!" he was all shaking and jumpin around and lookin everywhere and going crazy, and shoving his gun at my face. so i just sat there and stared at him, like totally in shock over what is going on, and he started screaming at me "go! give me your fuckin money!" so i pulled out all the money from the register and gave it to him, and he screamed at me to turn around and walk to the back of the store. so i walked back, he took off running, and i just kinda sat there for a second. i really wish i would've took off after him, but i just sat there. after like 10 seconds i ran outside, and saw the guy running up lomas, and then i went back inside and called the cops. it was a trip. the cops made me fill out a million things about the robbery, and i gave them a shitty description of everything, and they said they will let us know if he's caught.
