who orders a pitcher of beer during their lunch break? tv is so unrealistic.
i feel worthless lately. my life needs more purpose.
the application for Columbia really sucks. i got it in the mail today, and started filling it out..there's a lot i need to do. and what the fuck do i write my personal essay on? also, can i send the same personal essay to a bunch of different colleges? i'm thinkin i will, i'm not about to write like 4 different ones. unforunately the requirements are different for different schools though -- im gonna have to just tweak my essay to make it work in a couple ways.
also, i think it's pretty fucked up that a lot of insurance companies are screwing hurricane katrina victims out of money. they're classifying most of the damage as "flood" damage, as opposed to "wind" or "hurricane" damange, when only the latter two are covered under most home insurance policies. i understand that insurance companies rely on the fact that disasters like this usally DON'T happen, but they can't be screwing all these people out of money when they've been paying home insurance all this time. argghh.
