Adventures in the freshman dorms this weekend . . . hoo boy. Glad that's over. All-in-all, I'm glad this weekend happened. I slept a lot one night and got mostly over my cold, and today I was a giant nerd for a long time. And now I'm going to do work. Latin quiz, modern poetry paper, Middlemarch . . . everything I usually do of a Sunday evening.
My parents are running around all over looking at little squidges. I half hope they find a good one now because I don't want them to be in a dog-less house, but I half want them to wait until I get back to help choose a squidge. I dunno. Guess we'll see.
The mater's rather brilliant suggestion for a J-term internship in Madison (I reaaally don't want to burn out this year): work with the English or Latin department at West. Could be genius, could be traumatizing. We'll see.
