I was reading an article today which was trying to bash Apple and their new operating system, "Leopard," scheduled for release early next year. The article claimed Windows new OS, "vista," will create more than 100,000 new jobs, thus boosting the economy. These jobs would be in IT support, tech support, for all the poor saps who can't figure out why their computer doesn't work right.
Somehow I don't understand who this is supposed to make me want to buy a PC. Let me get this strait.. Apple's new OS will not create jobs because people won't need to call tech support? Is this because it actually works the way it's supposed to? This allows people to actually get work done - Rather than spending all their time on the phone with tech support?
