Introducing Lucy
We adopted a new cat yesterday. I was at the pet store getting Kitty a new water dish, no need for him to drink out of a 5 gallon dispenser, and we saw this little girl. She looks exactly like kitty with some minor differences. Shes 1/2 his size, a girl, and has this little white patch of fur on her chest. Shes gotta be like 5lbs at the most. Shes a ton of fun and not afraid of my emo cat, Kitty. Shes about 4 years old and had been in a kennel for 8 months! I played with her in the cage and she seemed to have a great demeanor. She was sweet and loving as well as playful. When I held her and scratched behind her ear, she started drooling. I mean, drooling like a dog. It was pouring out of her. When she shakes her head.. drool sprays everywhere. I had to bring her home after that.
Kitty was not as excited as we were. He is very emo and immediately ran under the bed. She went under there with him and started licking his face. Later on in the evening Kitty came down to inspect. Throughout the night they have been establishing boundries with each other. Kitty apparently is NOT allowed to lick her ass. This morning they were chasing each other so I think he will do well with her.
When I went to leave for work, I found her in the tree at the top. I snapped this quick pick of her before went to work. I think before she realizes she doesnt have to go in a cage again, shes gonna be a handful. Im pretty sure she has been using the litter box too. :D She has this adorable little meow too... its so feminine. Leon started calling her Lucy so I think thats what we are gonna name her. Not 100% positive yet.
School starts today at 11. :D I started getting sick yesterday. I hope I can get rid of it before it turns into a full blown out cold. I still REALLY miss my puppy.
