So for some History extra credit, which I need, I can write a paper on how The Melian Conference ( When Athenians took over Melos in the Peloponnesian War ) compares with historical events that took place in the last 25 years.
The only time I can think of is the Gulf war where Iraq was like.. yo kuwait... we are taking over.. and Kuwait was like.. fuck you.. the Americans will come. I cant remember if the USSR was expanding after 1980.... so basically Im calling on my history friends and political friends to see if any of you have suggestions... for examples of how stronger nations/countries/societies manipulate ideas of justice
and natural rights to achieve their own political ends
