James has a friend sleeping over tonight, C. Right now they’re playing Xbox. I’m not sure what game it is, but apparently it calls for lots of trash talking, because that’s all I can hear from the living room.
Tomorrow Mary will pack them and their stuff into her Vue and head over to pick mom up. Once they’re all on board they’re heading North to spend the day at Universal Studios. Dad sent cash to work with me yesterday and I picked up discount tickets from the Aztec Ticket Office (only $49, no tax, no fees). Such a deal, right?
Mom also bought each of them a $25 all-you-can-eat voucher. They get to eat their meals at any food place in Universal. They only additional cost is their drinks. *shrug* Not a bad deal, I’m sure.
On Saturday they’re going to the tar pits in Le Brae. It’s been a few years since James has been and he’s been asking to go for a while now. C. has also been before but it’s been a long time for him, too. They should have a good time. Two young teen boys in a museum full of dinosaurs and gooey tar. LOL, good luck to both Mom and Mary. :)
If they get home early enough on Saturday James’ll join up with his Little League team for their game at 1pm. If not he’ll just miss one. He very-very-very rarely ever misses a game and since this is his Spring Break I’m totally not going to push them to hurry home.
He’ll get some baseball in on Sunday though. He’ll be joining up with the Ballhogs 13U team for a double-Sunday tournament. It’ll be held at Tecolote (near Sea World San Diego), which is one of my favorite locations.
While they’re gone I plan to get a hair cut (my split ends are HORRIBLE) and maybe treat myself to a movie at Plaza Bonita. One thing is FOR SURE, though, I’ll be sleeping in on Saturday. I’ll go down to Twin Hills on Saturday to flyer cars in a last-ditch effort to sell the Padres tickets so that the league doesn’t get stuck with that bill. Ugh.
Beyond that… I dunno. I’ll do laundry, clean up my room and maybe kill some dark-side Jedi. LEGO Star Wars for the Wii. w00t.
Ok, it’s late. I’m going nite-nite.
