Sports: F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, & Tennis, + New caderyn Layout
Okay, so I've disappeared off into the abyss for the last month or so...
Lots of development in my real life, but I don't feeling like getting into that for now.
I'm quite excited about all the TV shows returning. At the moment, I only have the occasional Psych to sustain me. Like everybody else and their cleaning lady, I think I'll make a schedule of the things I'll be watching... 'Don't think any new shows have caught my eye yet. Suggestions?
Other than TV, my screen has been filled with sports on Sundays/Mondays. To be honest, F1 holds very little enthusiasm for me these days (I miss you on the podium, Fernando!).
MotoGP... Ironically, I'm more excited about the smaller classes (ie. 125cc & 250cc than MotoGP) because the competitions are tighter there. Also, I've gotten to really support Mike Di Meglio from the 125s. I love that his name is 'Mike' despite being French, haha... I suppose Alvaro Bautista still has a small chance of winning the 250s, but it's looking harder and harder for either Stoner or Pedrosa to take it to Rossi in MotoGP...
In NASCAR, I am quite excited about this freshly-brewed "rivalry" between Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards :D. These two are my favorites and, at the moment, have been performing the best out of everyone in the field. I'd LOVE to see the Chase come down to these two, but I shall say no more, for fear of jinxing them Iamstoopidthatway.
Finally TENNIS. One of the reasons I'm making this post is to use this cute, pouty NADAL icon IwannaSQUISHhim
Damn, I am SO SO SO disappointed that Nadal lost to Murray!!! And Djokovic to Federer!
I was excited that for the first time in a grand slam this year --- because Nadal's now seated #1, woo hoo --- I have the chance of seeing a Nadal vs Djokovic final... Not to be :(. Murray was staggeringly good. I was surprised at him... But apparently, he will be seated #4 after this tournament, so I guess that explains it.
Well, at least Nadal still has his French Open and Wimbledon trophies, as well as his Olympic gold medal, and Djokovic his Aussie Open trophy :D. Now I'm just hoping Murray will take this momentum and beat Federer in the Final. The smart money's still on the Fed-Ex, but you never know... *crosses fingers*.
I'm kinda bum out about having no more tennis though... :( Ah well, I shall stare at this Nadal icon and mimic his expression, as it sums up my feelings about the US Open.
Finally, I changed my journal layout YET again! I'm kinda obsessed with layouts these days. This one's not too different from my last one, since it was also made by the fabulous palebird, though I did customize it a fair bit. Check it out:

Last random thought of the day: I should stop using "Goddamnit" as one my swear words. It makes me sound like an old, gung-ho American military colonel. Or a drill sergeant. Not attractive.
