One of this week's new favorite things is Chocolove's Chilies and Cherry Dark Chocolate Bar. Before you can tell me that this sounds like a terrible idea, I will counter by say it is not a good idea. It is an excellent idea. Bare with me in my foodie moment; there's a little spice up front, then a bite of strong cherry flavor, followed by a warming aftertaste that is, again, a little bit spicy. So good, every bite.
Parents are home, and parents mean groceries, and my parents mean large hauls of organic produce, baked breads, and chocolate. They went on a voyage to far away lands (Whole Foods), and brought back spoils. They also brought me Scandinavian folk metal and a brocade scarf (from their actual vacation). Scandinavia seems a rather wonderful place by all accounts.
I'm sorry if I haven't talked to you, e-mailed you, seen you, or called you recently. (Chances are, this applies to everyone who isn't Bekah or my parents.) I'm in crunch for this short film for the next five days, and I have to get it done. After next week I get to sleep again. Then...off to London!
