Crankypants: Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Apparently, the Incan Empire happened in the 1500s? Come the fuck on, people, there was so much bad information about science terms, geopolitics, and history that could have been solved with thirty seconds of Googling. Although honestly, I'm not sure the dialogue could have been solved by anything less than throwing it out and rewriting the episode completely. "The tweets." "She'll need someone to be her superior officer." "More than just a consultant." I...just...I can't even, to the point of not even putting my dialogue objections in context or listing any more.

T. kept saying "I hate teambuilding episodes" and growling in inarticulate rage at the worst technobabble I have ever heard. Highlight: them saying the weapon was "pure energy, like a laser" and T. shouting "ALL LASERS ARE PURE ENERGY!" Or "gamma radiation? That means nuclear?" "No...worse" and T. saying, "No, no it doesn't." And then when they shoot the 0-8-4 into the sun, he said, "IF THEY'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, THEY COULD BLOW UP THE DAMN THING, IT'S NO WORSE THAN ANY OTHER NUCLEAR BOMB AND THIS IS JUST INEFFICIENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE AAAAAGH."

In summary: Dear God, who is editing this thing? Because they should be fired.
