YULETIDE OF DOOOOOOM

Dec 27, 2009 23:29

OH MY GOD YOU GUYS SEND HELP! I've been out of town for Christmas, in the land of no internet (I broke down on Christmas Eve and read Chapter 45 (warning: NC-17, read at your own risk) of Switch on my phone, which was like a throwback to dial-up, but with more eyestrain.

AND NOW I am sitting here, exhausted from a sixteen hour drive overnight, during which I didn't sleep until we were 5/6 of the way done, and all I have done this afternoon (other than grump at my family who should know better than to talk to me until I have at least twelve hours of sleep in me) is sit here reading Yuletide. I am dizzy, I am aggravating the tendonitis in my right hand with my posture and the whole four straight hours of fic thing, I have thirteen recs lists and eleven fics open in tabs, and I CANNOT STOP I THINK I WILL COLLAPSE. Also, as you can see, the rambling CAPSLOCKS OF MELODRAMA have come out.

In order not to keep adding things to "Read It Later" and then never clearing them out, Yuletide recs! Read them if you dare; I am too tired to give you more rec-ly information than header-type stuff.

Fairy Tales
Title: Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Duckling
Characters: OC
Summary: It's her life story, and she has some issues with it.
***Believe it or not, if you only have time to read one story, make it this one. Even--especially--if you don't like fairy tales.

I also have Glee recs, but I seem to have lost them somewhere.

And final CAPSLOCK OF DOOM observation: OH MY GOD, Y'ALL, Y'ALL DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW MANY FICS I HAVE SAVED IN MY "READ IT LATER" TO REC HERE. *DIES LOUDLY AND DRAMATICALLY*

I'll be back tomorrow. Hopefully with a little more sense. :)
