Oooh, I'm so gung-ho about LJ lately
I hope this lasts. :D
I want people to post, but no one really is, so I'm going to have to do it myself. DESPITE the fact that I seem to have nothing to say. I'm sure I can dig something up though, after being silent for so many months.
Really though, to be completely honest, I'm just trying to pretend to myself that I'm legitimately busy, and therefore unavailable to work on my paper.
So, what's something fun I can write about?
Well, I kept dreaming last night that I was peeing. From dream to dream, I was going to one bathroom stall and then another. Finally I woke up at 5:00AM and of course, I had to pee so bad!! I hate waking up so near to the time you have to get up, though. Oftentimes, I'll just take my shower early, then go back to bed, and be able to get up later -- I'd have done that if it was 6:00, or maybe even 5:45 -- but 5:00 was just a little too early.
I think I might scratch that last paragraph for something more interesting. Ummm...
Cylons! lol. Our friend got us hooked, at the beginning of the summer, on Battlestar Galactica. All this time, I was getting it confused with Babylon 5 -- I thought it was one of those scary sci-fi shows where each character is more colorfully costumed than the last. Instead, it is actually a really good character-driven show about, er, human(oid)s. So there!! We're almost caught up with the series, though.
Darn, I'm afraid that wasn't very interesting either.
Boooooop. It's raining outside. I had no idea that was on the schedule for today. I should have opened Cadenza's stall door. Though when it POURED the other day, she obstinately refused to go inside...despite the fact that I had put a flake of hay in the stall to entice her. OH! This is my new favorite obsession. "Fugly Horse of the Day" is not only funny and snarky, but it delivers an important message.
Shoot, does this mean my life is currently boring?
