Quick everyone: what was your most awkward moment today!?
Mine: taking derek summerville home. (but, he went to eat with september and i before, and we picked his little brother up on the way home, and when we got to his house, the whole fam-dam-ily was just arriving, so i kinda sorta met his mom, too. so i guess it was a lot of awkward moments.)

and ryan's such the older brother figure to me.
oh! and i've decided that part of my lecture when people get into the car (which i forgot to give derek, btw) should include "oh yeah, and that funny noise is my speedflap thingy. it goes up at 48mph or 85 kph and goes down when we stop. it's normal."
