I, although I've implied that I'm crying, or at least sniffling, have not actually made it that far yet in my journey in the stages of grief.
The stages are:
1. Denial
2. Anger
3. Bargaining
4. Depression
5. Acceptance
I'm currently at #2 and am edging towards a touch of #4 and I suspect I'll be at #5 soonish. It may take me a few days.
I don't understand how the execs at SCI FI think that this is going to work in their favor. They have (had) 5 shows I would watch:
SG1, their long running, large fanbase powerhouse.
SGA, the spin off that won the hearts of many and my personal favorite.
EUREKA, which was ok the first season and will not win against NCIS which is also on at that time.
DR. WHO, which is ok, but no where near Stargate's brilliance. (I know, it's sacrilege).
TORCHWOOD, which has no plot as far as I can tell, but is full of shiny, pretty people who make out and have sex a lot.
Not that any of these shows have a lot of plot... Maybe SG1 in the early days.
I actually don't watch the last three on a regular basis. SG1 is gone. SGA will be gone. THEREFORE I will not watch SCIFI.
SHOWS I MUST HAVE:
NCIS
SGA
HOUSE
NUMB3RS
That is sadly pretty much it. I have no new shows. Oh, I also like 2 1/2 Men.
(I don't actually watch a lot of TV if you couldn't tell) (I buy Seasons on DVDs for a reason, not because I want to relive fav eps, but such that I can watch the eps for the first time.)
Bastards.
