Christmas Wishlist, Anyone?
Step One:
* Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real life things (not stories or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.

Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use-or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free-do it.
* You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf-to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not-it's your call.
* There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

- A Liam/Louis fic with side Harry/Niall (X-Factor 2010/One Direction fandom). Set in any universe, this or alternate. I just need more of these pairings in my life. Sniff.
- More Max/Mariam fic (Beyblade). Just more in general. There's not enough of this.
- A gift card to Saphora. Cannot afford anything there on my own ><
- A new computer. Preferably a laptop, but hey, I'll take what I can get. Mac or Windows. I don't care. I've been asking for a new one for like, four years now and I really want it to happen this year.
- Pretty clothes. I know that's a little vague, but anything sparkly or flow-y is welcome. I need a bit of excitement in my wardrobe.
- Bose headphones. It's a pain to have to try and share a pair with my dad while we're traveling and noise cancellation will be blissful on planes.
- A case for my phone (Nexus S). Can be store bought or hand made. It's just that, the iPhone has so many cute cases and for a lot of Android phones, there just isn't the same selection. I'd paint on my currently black case, but God knows I'm a terrible artist and I'd probably mess it up.
- Howl's Moving Castle DVD. I watched this movie in Japanese class recently and I love it. It's so cute. Spirited Away would be nice too.
- This seems like an odd request, but I really want more online friends. I mean, I wish that people here or Tumblr or Twitter talked to me more. I feel a bit like a hermit. I'm approachable, I swear.
- Shoes designed for narrow feet that will also make me taller. I hate when people comment on how short I am.
