Charging for deck/porch/garage areas?
Does anyone here draw plans on the side?
I have to give my client a price for his cottage plans but am not sure what to charge. I have a base price per square foot of living area, but there is also a garage, a covered porch, and a deck.
Do you typically charge the same amount of these areas, or do you say.. charge 1/2 or 1/3 of the base price?
Or do you even charge at all?
The living area cost with garage totals around $5000 already.
