Love Travels The Miles Upon The Wings Of Angels
So Saturday night I saw my favorite band ever: Ceili Rain. They are an Irish folk band with a Christian lean. They are amazing. They played 2 sets, one at 7:00 and one at 10:00. Each set was 1 1/2 hours long, with about 12-14 songs each set. The first set they had a set list, which was amazing. The second set was the "Drunken request show." This is when the band has had a few too many and just play what the crowd tells them to play. I called out like 6 songs and they played them all. Through the 2 sets, they played maybe 5 songs twice. I knew 90% of the songs and had an absolute blast. In between sets, I met the band and had them sign their latest cd, "With The Change In Your Pocket, You Could Change The World." They were all awesome guys. I hadn't seen them in almost 2 years, the last time being AYC 2003. They were awesome, and it was just a great night.
