(no subject)
so i guess it's about time i did a proper update?
well one thing I just read kinda annoyed me, but I aint gonna go into it. it's pointless, and I should be used to that kinda stuff by now.
well for those who don't know, i came back to uni on Sunday, after a month at home back in Kent. it flew so quickly! i did so much work! I also met a few internet friends during the holidays, and they were very much the brightest moments of it. So the wheres_me_halo, kiwitart and tehangelphish i wanna say thank you :o) ooh also deeq since i met him when i met karen and trish but i didn't know him then, i do now lol
i also went up to Bury for a frends birthday party, that's right the same one who said he'd come to mine tomorrow but has screwed me over and fucked off home. that's if any of you actually read the last entry.
This week i have been doing so much dissertation work, and the time away from the net has been...something. I certainly didn't miss it too much, and i didnt miss many people. one or two, i did of course!
right now i am waiting for my dissertation to be bound. i got here to queue at half past 8 this morning, and it doesn't open til 9. i was 5th in line! still it's in, and i await so i can hand it in, in about an hour or so.
oh also, i don't know how many know the story of another reason why this uni sucks huge dick. Basically, one of my modules is a networking one, and for that coursework i needed a case study. Well before Christmas, i was one lazy fuck so didn't go to many of those lectures. It appeared i had missed it being given out.
so a couple of months back i guess, i emailed the module leader asking if i could get a copy. she said to ask the other teacher if they had spares, otherwise it might take her some days but she would find the master copy and make some more copies. ok i thought, fair enough. so i asked the other and she said there were none left and to ask the 1st teacher. so i emailed the 1st back and asked if perhaps she could email it to me. she said she didn't have an electronic version, or she would have done that in the 1st place and we wouldnt be having this problem. so i said "ok then, can i be a pain in the neck and ask for a copy?". no reply.
i kept mailing and nothing. all through the last week of term, and i even called and left my phone number and details of what was up. no reply.
during the holidays, getting quite anxious about this, i emailed her again, and this time i got a reply straight away. she said that she had put some more on her door in the last week of term. I was so pissed when i saw this. why the FUCK didn't she tell me?!!!!!!!!!!! i didn't email her so many times for my health!
so i got a mate (who by the way i think fancies me :-s) to go and have a look on her door for me. he said there were none left.
in the email that the teacher sent she said that if there weren;t any left, i would have to find another student with a copy. she couldnt do anymore as the master had been sent to the external assessors. so i emailed about 160 students. i got like 4 replies? in the end someone agreed to let me photocopy theirs. so i did that monday. only to be told by them that they hadn't done ANY of the work so far, and could i help them. i was like "well i dont even really know what i'm doing and i got help myself" and he said "but you've done 2 of the labs right?" i said "yeah". and he said "well can you just give me them? the answers will be the same" I was so fucking aghast! i made up some excuse for leaving and went. he text me tuesday asking for help i said i couldnt as my dissertation was due at the end of the week. i think he rang me yesterday also but it cut out, so i put it on divert all calls so he couldn't ring me. i am NOT giving him my fucking work! that's so out of order! what he did for me was decent, no other fucker would do it. but i am NOT risking my arse for him just because he couldn't be arsed to do any work, and so should copy mine! i could fail my degree if i gave him my work, and it got found out! so no way! wanker!
i also haven't been too well this week. my tummy aint been so great. hope i'm better for tomorrow though, as it's my birthday, and i dont wanna be ill then :'o(
we are going to pizza hut then to various pubs, should be good. although Lucy, who I live with, is bringing her boyfriend. and this guy is like 6ft5 and a fucking thug! he really pisses the rest of us off! grrrrrrrrr but i can't say no! others are bringing their partners. *sigh* he better not ruin it.
I'm so fucking tired. i feel like i aint slept in days! early night tonight? oh yes! bliss!
also, i'm gonna book a haircut today i think for tomorrow, i think i'll get this one done *shows everybody*.
i also need to pay my accommodation fees.
i bought a data cable for my new mobile from Ebay :o) sent the cheque yesterday i think lol. can't remember. so hopefully the guy will get it today. what the cable does is allow me to transfer photos from my phone to my pc! :D yay for technology!!!!
i need to write Cerra also! i aint forgot you hon, i WILL do it! well, i have nowt to do this arvo, so there lies my task :) along with a nice bath, and a tidy of my room.
i will say one thing for Coventry, there are some GORGEOUS Asian girls here. Ever since this girl i used to really fancy in school, i have had a thing for asian girls. *shrugs* did i just share too much?! lmao
this weekend i plan on doing nothing! i need the break from work, and probably to recover from tomorrow night lol. also it's the beer festival at my favorite pub here, so i'll probably pop in there one day. and.....IT'S A LONG WEEKEND!! BANK HOLIDAY!!! YAY FOR MAY DAY! lol
