Yakitate!! Japan moment
I've been up for so long. The day doesn't feel real.
I had to be up at 6 to make it to my job interview for 8. It was a group interview at Lush. First, I thought, What? Group interview?! Is this going to be like the first bit of Yakitate!! Japan? You should look it up on Youtube. A few clips from the first couple episodes will show you what I mean. I hope I made a good impression. I sure hope I did! There were about 14 people there. I guess it is an efficient way for them to see just who does stand out and will fit in. But on our side, it sort of seems like a cruel compitition. But it wasn't really... I think. It was a company orientation, and Q&A bits. I actually stepped up and asked questions and made comments when asked quite often. I think I was well recieved and noticed!! My 20 second interview with the manager herself was rushed. But I think it felt promising... Then I may have failed at the demo. We each had to pretend that we worked there and demo a product to the staff. UGH! pwnd. I hope I hear from them next week. pleeeease. I love that store even more now and the people that work there are awesome!!! Plus we all got 2 free gifts for being there for 2 hours. A bath bomb and a foot scrub.
I browsed around the mall for a little bit in a sleep deprived sort of way. I even went to Winners to look for black and white clothes because that is the Lush dress code. Tried some things on and thought, YOU DON'T HAVE THE JOB! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! lolol so I left the clothes and meandered back home.
Went to Costco with Mike. I cleaned the bathroom. And I'm packing things for Calgary. Whooo Wednesday. I bought a big purple suitcase so that I could bring somethings to leave at my parent's house. I just brought too much stuff. Everyone knows that. I double checked the West Jet luggage rules. I'm still allowed 2 checked bags and 2 carry-ons. That changes Jan 19 for those interested. So I can pack my bag inside my bag for the way back. It'll be awesome.
