I found myself stealing one of Kyo's lines today. I'll explain in a minute, but I guess I have to start early.
See, last night we drove to Terre Haute. I came down with Jeff and Uncle Jay rather then Mom and Dad, because tonight was the only night my second cousin B.J (the younger one. I have two B.Js, which I find hysterical, considering it means Bobby Junior.) was going to be in Terre Haute. His folks are divorced, and he was leaving to go to his mom's for Turkey Day. Anyway. He and I have always been pretty close because we're the only two our age in like...the entire extended family on dad's side. He's a year younger then me and we always used to play together whenever my family came down to Terre Haute. We even decided (when I was urm, 7? And he was 6?) That we were going to get married when we were older (which our parents had to dissuade, because we are related)
In any case, we were supposed to go see him last night, and we kinda got wrapped up in card games and uh...forgot ^^;
So he called me today to say hi.
He doesn't go by B.J. anymore. He goes by Bobby. Which I can understand, I guess, going by B.J. in a Terre Haute High school would be social suicide according to my brother. But it still, I was like...where's my little buddy from way back when? Where the hell did this punk come from? But I felt like Kyo when he's talking about Hatsuharu.
Speaking of which, I really want to scan in these pictures so we can figure out his contact info for Air. Which we WILL do, I promise!
On a different note, I don't really like Thanksgiving 'dinner'. I don't like yams, don't like cranberries, don't like turkey, don't like green beans, don't like homemade stuffing...and I don't particularly like lasagna that much.
I like mashed potatos, though.
