Hey guys,
I know I posted about this Tony Parker music video already:

Yeah, balance-toi! Ok, I made fun of it before, but truth be told it's actually started growing on me. At least it's catchy.
But the big question is, how in the world did I miss this?!?

Yes, it's "Top of the Game," by Tony Parker featuring FABOLOUS!
Oh my lord.
I can't even believe this song. First of all, the video is all "I'm Tony Parker! You remember--the basketball guy?" Why does every TP video have to feature basketball? One would assume that, since he's trying to be legit as a rapper (je n'ai rien a prouver) he would want to draw attention away from the fact that bball is the only thing for which he's known.
Also, I am totally amazed by Fabolous' attempt to popularize France. France is many things. France is beautiful, historic, culturally enriching, etc. etc. Cool it is not. "From France to the NYC" is where I totally lost it. You know, F.A.B., in France there really aren't a lot of black men wearing baggy shirts, jerseys, and baseball caps. There just aren't. I can't wrap my head around the concept of trying to make France hip.
Also, don't tell anyone, but Tony Parker isn't French.
He's Belgian. 'Nuff said.
