So happy all of our guys have found Christmas Connections!

OMG they (one of our guys and his niece) have been out of touch for 10 years and finally talked with each other this week! Granted it was over the phone and he's really hard of hearing, but it's still AWESOME!!! At least until he was told that all of his brothers and sisters have died. :(

Herding cats at today's Festival of Trees was a challenge, but oh so very worth it.

Hate starting another weekend not knowing where one of my guys is. All I can do is hope that he's safe and warm.

Luckily, I only have one guy, who currently can't be housed. It's tragic and breaks my heart a bit.

The one I've been fretting about is still in the psych ward. Hoping he's getting some relief.

Oregon Health Plan benefit cuts effective Jan. 1, 2010 are making me feel all sorts of stabby and unladylike. Yes, legally the state only has to give a 30-day notice for the cuts. However, in NO WAY does this allow the majority of people to actually use those benefits before they go away. The cuts compounded with the fact that SSI benefits will not be increasing in January means that people who receive the max SSI payment of $674/ month will be effectively getting a pay cut. < insert long OMFG frak you government rant here>

The OMGPWN!ES show at seq_art_gallery rocked my socks! Most of the ponies were sold last night. I'm really trying to resist the urge to buy 2 of them.

Tonight, one of my guys is playing a live avant-guard jazz saxophone gig at Medicine Hat (NE 18th-19th and Alberta)! So very excited for him. :)
