Halloween at the office was fun. Some of our clients are just wonderfully awesome spirits.
Dharma House was spooktacularly decorated! Pictures will be up on Flickr soon. Only about 8 kiddies came by, which left more freshly baked pumpkin seeds for me. woohoo! The apple cider at the Baghdad isn't too bad either Though I do wish they would have served it hot. ;-p
My feet have forgiven me for walking around so much in heels. So, that's happy.
One of our volunteers reserved the House of Louie, so that we could open it to feed whomever showed up. About 175, mostly homeless, people were fed til their bellies were about to burst. Nearly everyone was on their best behavior, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Client's art show was another happy experience for yesterday night. Then the walk home carrying on an excellent conversation brought the night to a joyful close.
Vegan Holiday Festival is tomorrow! Anti-Fur Protest Tomorrow! Come one, come all!
This weekend looks as though it'll be another busy one.
Still holding out hope that one of these days I'll be able to sleep in and enjoy a book with a hot cup of jasmine tea and my kitties curled up around me.
