Weekend Plans Interrupted
Spent the morning with clients, and then for a walk around downtown to see about borrowing a bike for a friend to accompany me to Hillsboro. No luck, so I boarded the MAX and saw a guy, who apparently didn't make life at Free Geek too fun yesterday. I went to get the bike I was purchasing from a friend. Meanwhile, we got distracted.... now there's a new addition to our household.
The shelter named him "Pringle," waiting until a certain someone gets home from work before a new name is selected... currently, I'm thinking Buster- after Buster Keaton.
Say hello to Buster:
No bike trails in Hillsboro. Spent the day attempting to contact my landlord, because the shelter had to get the okay before they'd let me take him home. Luckily, my landlord returned the call just after a yummy wok lunch at New Seasons, and Donielle was sweet enough to drive me home making the treck to the apartment with kitten and bike a breeze. Good news is that Buster and Samhain have had NO hissing wars or any indication of personality conflict. YAY!
Guess I'll have to wait until Donnielle's next day off for the trails (probably in about 10 years, but by then we should be excellent pen pals).
