happy fourth!
so yesterday was the fourth of july. woot! i had a particularly fun fourth this year. mondy night i went to the irondeqiout town hall festival thingy with danny. we only stayed for an hour or so cuz it got kinda boring and really crowded. but that was okay...we just came home and played uno instead. =P
i didnt go to the parade yesterday becuase i woke up too late and decided i was too lazy to rush. besides i was trying to lie in bed and remember a very strange dream that i am sure was spawned by my current read. any-who every year i have a party at my house for family and friends. i only stayed for an hour and a half this year though. i was sad leaving because its the first year i havet attended my own family party. its just another big change in my life. but i got over it and had a wonderful time with danny and his family and friends at their fourth celebration. it was out in morton at his uncle's property. it was very cool because there is an old inn on the property from the horse-drawn-buggy days. driving up to it there were dark rain clouds in the background and i was reminded of disney's tower of terror or some other scary themed building there... creepy but so cool at the same time. we even got to explore it later on.
i went swimming in the lake with the guys. it was sooo refreshing. i swam way out in the water (there was a sandbar) and while we were all out there it started pouring rain. but there was no lightning so we had no reason to go inside. amanda saved all the towels and looked like a sand-person from star wars from far away. lmfao. i almost died laughing cuz my tummy cramped up. and of course the fireworks were amazing. there were soo many of them and we could just lay down on the grassy hill and watch them.
and in less than two weeks im leaving for fish creek!!
