top secret mission
so, i thought this was the funniest damn thing that's happened in a while. at my office, i have 4 bosses, and all their desks are really far away from each other, so we use yahoo instant messenger to communicate.
this is an actual conversation i had with my main boss today:
[11:11] daicor2002: Hi KIM
[11:11] cabritaloha: Hi, Cordai, how are you?
[11:11] daicor2002: I am fine thanks. and you?
[11:11] cabritaloha: I'm great
[11:11] daicor2002: I need for you to do me a favor in secret.
[11:12] cabritaloha: Ok--I'll be right there.
[11:12] daicor2002: wait
[11:12] daicor2002: don't come to me.
[11:12] daicor2002: don't tell anybody
As it turns out, it was a secret santa thing.
[11:13] daicor2002: go to the mailroom and get a giftcard out of Lisa's mailbox and give it to her. Don't tell her who told you to do it. Just say you are helping out Santa or whatever else creative you can come up with.
[11:13] cabritaloha: Ok
i almost exploded after she said not to come to her or tell anybody, though.

also, i made the dean's list again this semester. yay!
