brian posehn is really, really funny

so i've just been kinda hanging out all day today. i went to the library, fell in love with the northside branch. i've got some big plans for my literacy this summer. :-D currently i've got a tim robbins novel and a john updike novel. hopefully i'll be done with them by the end of the week. after my adventures in the library, i went to whole foods and bought some dried mangoes because i realized i could afford them. it was awesome. now i'm home, and i've been listening to the sound of young america (thanks wesley)! it's really interesting--i felt awesome about the state of my life when i heard brian posehn talking about how he started out in san fransisco doing improv. it just made me feel really cool....i've never really seriously considered pursuing a career in comedy, but it's pretty neat to know that i'm doing the same thing that my heroes were at my age. so after this realization, i was on a quest for self-improvement and decided to wear my retainers as my teeth have been bugging me lately. holycrap! world of pain. and i can't pronounce anything involving the letter "s." but it's okay because i don't have to talk.

so... i've been having some good strands of thought lately, but i just haven't bothered to develop them, and by the time i do, they're gone. perhaps i'll write it down next time so that i've got something of substance to write about.

also, i'm going to do a day-in-the-life post maybe on thursday...that way i'll be at work and it won't be 80 pictures of me just sitting at home doing nothing. then you can all see the cave i work in! it's exciting!
