Browncoat Blog copy:

I'm so glad this week is over.
  1. On Tuesday after shopping at the mall and then hitting Barnes & Noble up for more books, I stop by Noodles & Co and pick up a Thai Curry Soup. Mm-mmm-good! On Wednesday I get to work and -- no wallet!
I empty out my work bag. Still no wallet. I search through the front seats of the car cuz I've developed this bad habit of leaving my wallet between the seats when there's no bag or purse to put it in. No wallet. Oh, well, I don't need it at work, it's probably just at home. I get home and start looking for it again. No wallet.
It's not in any of the places I usually put it. By now I'm really tired and frustrated so I go to bed, planning on going through the trunk of the car cuz I had some shopping bags back there and maybe I dropped it. Next morning I go through the entire car. No wallet.
I go back upstairs, go through every bag I had with me Tuesday. Uh-oh. There's a long slice in the B&N bag. But that's actually a semi-relief cuz it means I must've lost it somewhere between Noodles & Co and the car. I go to Noodles & Co - Yay! the manager found it right after I left and would've called me except all I have is a cell phone so I'm not listed. Big relief.
  2. So I buy lunch at Noodles & Co, call Gorramsister and tell her about my odyssey on my way home, eat lunch, go online, tell everyone I found my wallet. I also take a pic of my bee-yoo-tiful llama T with my phone. I knew my work bags were in the car so when I headed out for work I just threw the stuff I'd been carrying into a small bag. I get to work, reach for my work bag -- it's not there.
That's the bag with the keys to my desk and cabinets. All I have with me is the tote I use to put my bill-paying stuff in. Luckily, because of losing my wallet I had been carrying my badge around for picture ID, so I can swipe into work, but once the bosses leave I take an extremely early lunch and go home and grab my work bag.
  3. I get home from work that Thursday night and I'm going to take a pic of my bee-yoo-tiful gossiganger T - but no phone.
For some reason, I think that I talked to Gorramsister at work earlier, not at home, so I figure I left the phone at work. Friday night I get to work -- no phone. I look everywhere, I empty out my work bag, I look under all the papers on my desk -- no phone.
Okay, I finally remember I talked to Gorramsister at home and then the last thing I did was take a pic of the llama T so maybe I left it at home. I get home that night -- no phone. I look everywhere again. No phone.
I decide it must be at work, so I put my shoes and a sweater on and I head out to the car. I sit down, pick up the hoodie on the passenger side -- and there's the phone.
I"m so glad this week is over!!!!
