The Olympic Schedule - Minus Curling and Most Hockey

There's a lot going on in the next two weeks and I've never found a really good TV listing anywhere since the days when TV guides had 24-hour listings. So I made my own! I skipped curling and most of the hockey because I don't watch those sports a lot, but if you're a fan, CNBC carries most of that in the afternoon and evening, with MSNBC and USA pitching in occasionally. I did list the medal games for hockey cuz I'll probably watch those if I'm home.

So, besides curling and hockey, what are the Winter Olympic sports? Here's a quick and easy list:

• Alpine: Ski downhill fast  
• Biathlon: Ski and shoot  
• Bobsled: Extreme tobogganing  
• Cross-Country: Ski uphill slow  
• Figure Skating: Pretty skating  
• Freestyle Skiing: Moguls, Aerials, and Ski Cross  
• Hockey: People bashing each other  
• Luge: Even more extreme tobogganing  
• Nordic Combined: Ski and jump  
• Short Track SS: Extreme skating  
• Skeleton: Head-first tobogganing  
• Ski Jumping: Ski and fly  
• Snowboarding: Pipe and cross (this is a medical pun so you have no idea :P)  
• Speed Skating: Fast skating
