I'm certain sure ComCrap is a subsidiary of frakkin' Blue Sun!

I am seriously considering canceling my ComCrap interweb. Besides them charging way too much anyway, my income has dropped the last year so it's that much bigger a chunk out of my monthly pie.

Also, the actual access has been really crappy lately. When I first turn on my lappy, my browsers (both of them!) take forever to load and with Firefox I get a "connection reset" message every single time I start up my computer. I'm constantly getting slowed down by ads and stuff not loading at all. HSX is the worst but it happens everywhere no matter which browser I use. I have a much slower connection at work and yet everything loads much faster. (Luckily I never see ads on Goners at work plus gossi I think canceled them all anyways...)

I will have access at work but unfortunately LJ and Flickr are blocked there. :( So my only access will be via library computers and when I visit my sister. I'll still be tinkering with writing and my photos, but I'll have to upload them at her house every week or three. Hopefully none of the Whedon sites will get blocked but there's no guarantee.

After the holidays I plan on trying Verizon Broadband again. I think I know what the problem was last time. It's not much cheaper than ComCrap but it should be more reliable, plus I'll have access everywhere that Verizon is, not just at home. If too many sites get blocked at work, I might set it up again before the holidays but I doubt it.

I don't know when I'll stop. If the billing cycle runs to the end of November, I'll probably stop it at the half-month. So if you don't stop by LJ often, this might be good-bye-ish. *weeps inconsolably*
