Goners trading card #2
As stated earlier, my first two cards are based on the splash pages that gossi had made for the Goners site.
The green one was based on the second splash page, sandwiched between the current one which was also the first one. So my second card is based on the first and current splash pages.
Here's the current one:
I took the skeleton hand on the right (which the designer had taken from Gray's Anatomy) and made it the main image seen faintly below a dozen or so variably visible GONERS.
I used the actual Gray's Anatomy image myself as it was impossible to cut a decent version out of the Goners page. I also thought that trying to keep both the hand and the hypodermic would be too much going on, plus the hand was to me the best illustration of a goner.
Here's the card:
I'll hand out what I have left (about half a dozen cards I think) and then start on something new. I haven't decided what to do for this next set. Maybe something more three-dimensional. I picked up a couple packs of chipboard which is too thick to run through the printer. I could print something off -- maybe a transparency -- and work collage or even something more 3D. Or I could just print some more off. I need better paper, though. I may end up buying some after all since the resolution isn't very good on the Bristol paper. Too bad, I like the cheapness of it.
