GG: #1 - There was a point where I wanted Christopher and Lorelai to get together but not after she got with Luke. (Millions of fans nod sadly with me.) I missed the previous episode due to a power outage so didn't see the romanticality of that, but my personal feeling is this trip to Paris is going to be a total disaster. Oh, and that's where I'm at, at the end Christopher asked Lorelai to go to Paris. #2 - I don't like the new banter. Not as hip. Not as funny. Kind of whiny. If Paris isn't a hilarious disaster instead of a "special episode" disaster, I may stop watching. I thought it was great Logan showed up, not so great they used the standard "oh no, one of his colleagues is a beautiful girl! whatever will I do?" I know they were going for Rory being mad at herself for succumbing to the jealousy, but it came off as same old same old. And they forgot to wrap up the newsroom, we never did find out who got to wear editor hat for the night and Amy would've made sure we knew - and that it was a lot lot funnier.
ANTM: I'm ass backwards on ANTM. I've seen the last two episodes as they aired since I was sick both Wednesdays and now I know who all out of this group 4 or 5 weeks ago was kicked. So I just watched the judging part, that's the best anyway. And may I ask the millions of women who apparently still adore the romantically covered Fabio, Why? Why why why? Sure he had his day, but now he's just a guy who looks kinda oldish and has long blond hair (probably bleached and highlighted and whatever they do with hair nowadays). He's kinda creepy-looking to me nowadays. Every time I see that commercial about having to wait so long and the Fabio-like gondolier (who may very well be Fabio, I'm not that good with faces) turns into an old old guy, I think the old old guy is Fabio pre-makeup.
Anyway, back to the episode. This was the one where they had to be scary sexy and then pose with the godawful Fabio. It's weird that Melrose didn't have a great pic; in real time she's on a hot streak, and if she survives the bitches in the backseat, she could walk away with the competition. Of course, I'm saying that knowing that the girl I've picked to win out of the final four for the last few cycles has either self-destructed or was too commercial for the judges. Plus, I understand what they're going for when they're looking for editorial, I just don't always like it. So if you've decided to base your million dollar bet in Vegas or Windsor on what I'm writing here, you might want to avoid Melrose.
