To the Pope-Mobile!
There's a lot of stuff since my last update, so i'm just going to go through what i remember.
Back to school and such.
Astronomy is over, Ocenaography has begun. We have a textbook and we've watched some movies.
We took a midterm in class in physics. I did okay. Also, we have started statics. We had one of them van de graph generator thingys, and we watched it spark, gained change from it to zap metal stuff, held our fingers close to cause sparks, and Conner stuck his tongue up to the generator and it zapped him. Also, Conner is now the Rev, and can marry people.
Chemistry involves more stuff. Heating and cooling curves.
Swimming in gym. Today the water was all cloudy and disgusting.
Lunch involves me eating, doing homework, and selling candy bars.
Math is more trig stuff.
AP American is American imperialism. Spanish American War and TR. We're doing a big seminar thingy.
English has a really bad student teacher. Tuesdays with Morrie. Typical sympathy unit BS; "imagine what it would be like if you had ALS," "what would you miss most if you had ALS," "what would you do if you only had one year to live," "what does compassion mean?"
I have been abducted into NHS. We had a ceremony, and I dressed up and they gave us manflowers to wear. Then we waited an hour in the cafeteria, but people had really old yearbooks, and it was cool. The cermony basically involved us walking across the stage, shaking Mr. King's hand, taking a certificate thingy, and lighting a candle. Then we all recited a pledge thing. I've heard that James did his in a British accent. After that, food.
I also got my SAT scores online. Verbal: 680 Math: 760. Total: 1440.
In fencing, I discovered that Joel will most likely take over the open group when the next beginning class starts. This scares me.
Went to Guiding Eyes For the Blind orientation. Somewhat interesting.
