I've been traveling for like 18 days now and I'm exhausted! Remembering when your next train/plane is, making sure you're packed and ready to go, getting their on time and then you're finally in a new city and you have tom find your way from the airport/train station to the hostel and get checked in, get your bearings and head out to go see the sights. And then you're there and it's information/sensory overload.
I had forgotten how exhausting traveling is. I walk like 8 hours a day and my legs and feet hurt so bad. I stood in line yesterday for three hours, STOOD (there was NO sitting), and then I climbed something like 5 million steps to get to the top of the Duomo. When I got back to the hostel, I took a freaking nap!
But I'm having an incredible time. I really, truly am. I love Italy. I adore the food and everything here is just beautiful! I just want to live here forever.
I'm not really spending enough time in any one city because I'm going to so many cities but that just means I'll have to come back!
I'm in love with the hostel in Florence. I'm staying at the David Inn and it's incredible! In the middle of a street with the Duomo to the right and the Academy Gallery to the left. And it's so pretty and clean. It's run by Nadia and it's very feminine - I adore it!
Sorry to dash off but my dinner is getting cold - oops!
