Progress
So I called my sister today and she actually answered, we talked for an hour and it was great. My oldest nephew, Tyler, turns 11 tomorrow - I can't believe it! I sent him and Shawn movie tickets since I won't be able to get up there to see them.
I also worked on communicating with my dad.
It's totally lame but it's a really big deal for us.
It really is.
He went camping Memorial Day weekend but never told me he was going, so I freaked out when my calls kept going straight to voicemail. Anyway, he finally calls me back and our phone conversation literally lasted two minutes. The dude was on his way home after doing something outside of his normal activities and we didn't even last for five minutes. (Why must this relationship be so complicated?!)
Now if I could just get my brother to call me!
