I was very late to this party, I started watching season one on May 7, 2012 and finished season four today...still waiting for season five to download. I was bored one day and my friend linked me to a Shenny fic and I was hooked. I thought it was odd to be into a pairing and not to have watched the show, so I started season one and I was hooked on that as well. I don't get any of the science stuff and get, at most, 50% of the comic books/sci-fi references but the show is still really funny and enjoyable. Although I do dislike Leonard a great deal, I feel like he's a douche bag. I think Leonard can be self-centered which causes his doucheyness. He is insecure about being a brainy nerd and wants to be one of the cool kids. And perhaps I could forgive that except he sabotaged Sheldon's experiment and now I can't get over my hatred of him.
For the record, Sheldon is hands down my most favorite character and Shenny is my OTP.
So far, season four is my least favorite episode. I am not a fan of Amy or of Raj's sister but every episode still makes me laugh.
