And you are actually correct about Kettering's program being intended for me to stay at my co-op employer after graduation. They have told me this before I graduated, and even their website says this.
SKD probably would take me back. Actually, several of the people their said that coming back there would be no problem. And believe me, there are times where I am very tempted to just pick up the phone and tell them that I want to return. I'm surprised I didn't do that a year ago. I also don't think that California, as good as it is, is the right place for me, so I am looking to relocate. We'll have to see how places like Schlumberjer work out.
I don't, however, see you as a deadbeat even though you dropped out of college. You have become one of the strongest people I know, and you actually inspire me to keep on trying, especially these past few months. I am proud that you are my sister and my best friend, which is why I tried so much to be professional when speaking about you as one of your character references. Congratulations on getting your new job!
