Went last night with Drew to Dover, DE, since that's where the closest Hardee's is (same company as Carl's Jr., just smaller menu). Despite driving around Dover for about an hour narrowly missing the place various times, we finally found it- with the help of Google maps. As great as the maps are, the directions tend to be a little too good to be true- really just that the street signs might not lend themselves to such detail in person.

But we managed to eat the burger combos in the coche outside Acme, and then I noticed that Dover Downs was right next-door. And Dover Downs being a Video Slot Casino/Hotel/Horse Racing track, we managed to just casually stroll through the Casino to the bathrooms with no trouble. So all and all, I got to use the bathroom of a casino, free of charge of course. I also realised that Dover (as state crapital of Delaware) is really just a macrocosm of every town in the state- liquor stores, car dealerships and perhaps as many fast food joints per capita as anywhere in SoCal. They even have 2 Arby's, and every other major chain that you can think of on the East Coast...and a Hardee's. This trek also proved that the only thing to do in Dover is either stay at home and drink (a lot), go out for fast food until your gut explodes, or go gamble your life savings away quarter-by-quarter at Dover Downs. Or if some lame-o who was big in the 60s or 70s comes by for one of the frequent concerts there, then it's otherwise the Branson of Delawre.

In other news, I'm working a wonderful 13 hours on Black Friday..oh joyous celebration of American Consumerism..yeah, that's it.
