(no subject)
Instead of going with most of the kea lounge rats to drink and otherwise be bored/depressed/whatever, I went w/Drew & Alana to TJ's, since I was looking forward all night to go out for some sort of diner. I definitely found the idea of sitting around & drinking not a very fun option, partly 'cause they're a bunch of cheapos, and partly 'cause they were bringing along underage people that are frankly a challenge to be around when under normal conditions. That and it's just plain lost its appeal overall- I have to say that I'd rather be acting silly on adrenaline or otherwise slight tiredness being up at odd hours of the evening- better known as high on life. What else- I did my capstone hw this afternoon and finished it after the 5 pm e-mail deadline, and of course Dr. Aguilar's e-mail account was full, so I still can't send in my homework. Oh well.
Spring break plans are nothing hugely exciting, nor horrible- just drivin' back to good 'ol Buxton, ME- and hopefully not being too unhappy being away from everyone here. Though of course it's always nice to see the padres and a few of my friends that will be around, but otherwise I might work 2 or 3 days max @ hannaford and try to entertain myself. I suppose I might might make a trip to LL Bean and get some socks or somethin' like that, and drive around Buxton, say hi to all the f-o's that probably didn't miss me too much. Hopefully there'll be enough snow still around so I can go snowshoeing somewhere fab, Buxton or some other place up country. Otherwise I'll prob. work on the 1st draft of my Spanish Lit. research paper, since that's due the 15th- the Tue. after 'spring' break, and the same day that I get to do my oral presentation. I might cut down to Annapolis and visit w/my aunt Kathy the 2nd weekend of break, but that's kinda a vague idea right now, unless anyone else wants me to drop by and visit. Seriously. Gibbo out.
