Obligatory New Year Entry
Well Happy New Year everyone...hopefully 2005 will bring a better year for all'a y'all. Yeah so Christmas was actually quite good this year- pretty relaxed and enjoyable- got a Digital Cam and Car CD player, new steel toe boots, and clothes. So the week after Xmas [last week] I worked 35.5 hours + 4 holiday hours for New Year's Day-- needless to say that=exhaustion, and most of why I somehow didn't manage an entry last week. Got to hang out w/Abs and Ryan on tuesday nite, which was cool, even though we eventually ended up @ the mall. We said hi to Jeb and walked around, which all was very good and I'd def. needed fun, since I was having a very bad night. [Ask me elsewhere if you have a nagging need to know- see other modes in my user info- suffice to say that EU/D. Hawkins think that I'm some sort of 'alcoholic', and I disagree].

I've also decided to reorganize the LJ pics some, and probably add a few that I've recently taken, even though they may be in other online albums [one is mentioned in a previous entry, prob. from Nov.] I didnt' get scheduled this week for work, which isn't great being one that needs as much money as possible, but probably just as well to have some down time and start gearing mentally a little bit toward a couple weeks from now when I head back to school. Late start, yes; plans to visit here on spring break [march 4-13], unlikely- might stay w/people here & there in PA, NJ, MD or mabye NYC. I really despise the weather here in Maine in early march, esp. if I have to work in cold rain/ice/slush w/dry cracked skin around the knuckles [gross & painful]. I'll fly/drive up easter weekend, since that's a long weekend, and my cousin also happens to be getting married then anyhow, so I'd be around by either account. Then another month and a half and I'll graduate [finally, 5 years!!!] in May. This all being in case I should actually be able to really visit people one way or another [that'd be as much of a surprise to me as to anyone else, I'm sure], and so ya don't get too hung up on me not comin' to see ya during the spring semester. Well this break has sorta been good & blasé all @ once, mainly w/not being able to schedule much visit time w/friends- them either not following thru w/plans well or just not being home for very long. I guess being here I lean some toward more grown-up type things, of working 9-5 and just hangin' out here @ home doing practiacally nothing, besides read some, watch TV and of course surf the net. Random thought: my beard is probably getting a little long, since the chin part is now long enough that i can be pulled along like an animal. I probably fiddle with it too much anyhow, esp. being about twice as long as i usually like to keep it.
