Logan wanted for '13 Reasons Why' alongside Selena Gomez

Now Deadline is reporting that Universal is developing an adaptation of Jay Asher's novel "13 Reasons Why" starring Selena. She will play a high school student named Hannah Baker who, before she committed suicide, recorded seven cassette tapes with instructions for them to be passed around to the 13 people who played a role in her death (like a morbid chain letter of sorts).

When the novel was released in 2008, it received several prestigious awards, including ranking in the Young Adult Library Services Association as a Best Book for Young Adults. There are still many more characters to cast in addition to Hannah, though, and we have a couple of suggestions.
Clay Jensen
Who he is: He's the boy who finds Hannah's cassette tapes and who also had a huge crush on her. Clay acts as a narrator for much of the film.
Our casting suggestion: Logan Lerman. He just seems like the nicest shy guy in the world-which is probably why he's tied to the film adaptation of "The Perks of Being A Wallflower."
